Global Product Access Global Product Access

Product data has been
broken for decades.
We fixed it.

Global Product Access is the catalog sharing network that replaces legacy EDI VANs, vendor portals, FTP drops, and GS1 data pools. No GTIN required. Vendors publish once to retailers, distributors, and marketplaces. Retailers set requirements, subscribe to vendors, and always stay current. Distributors both subscribe to vendors and publish to retailers, all through GPA.

How It Works

One network. Every relationship model.

GPA handles the topology of how product data actually moves through the supply chain: not just the simple vendor-to-retailer case, but every permutation of it.

Vendor Brand Manufacturer PUBLISHERS Network Hub Retailer Marketplace Distributor SUBSCRIBERS Publish Approve Subscribe Sync

Classic vendor-to-retailer network. Brands, manufacturers, and vendors publish once into GPA. Retailers, marketplaces, and distributors subscribe and receive catalog updates automatically. No bilateral file exchange required.

Manufacturer A Manufacturer B Brand / Supplier MANUFACTURERS MFG Layer Distributor SUBSCRIBER PUBLISHER Retail Layer Retail A Retail B Retail C RETAILERS Key: Distributor subscribes to MFG catalogs, adds margin / availability, then re-publishes its own curated catalog to downstream retailers.

Distributor as bridge: subscriber upstream, publisher downstream. Manufacturers publish into GPA. The distributor subscribes, enriches the data with their own pricing, availability, and terms, then re-publishes their curated catalog for retailers to subscribe to. GPA supports the same node playing both roles simultaneously across two independent relationship layers.

Retailer (Publisher) YOUR CATALOG Curated Feed Global Marketplace (External Marketplace) Partner Platform (API Subscriber) Brand Apps (White-label Feed) EXTERNAL CHANNELS Key insight: A subscriber in Model 1 becomes a publisher here.

Retailer-as-publisher to external platforms. A retailer who subscribes to vendor catalogs in Model 1 can simultaneously publish their curated assortment downstream: to external marketplaces, partner apps, or platforms. GPA nodes play both roles. The same entity is a subscriber looking upstream and a publisher looking downstream.

Any Identifier

No GTIN?
No problem.

Legacy platforms demand a GTIN before a product can exist. GPA lets products live in the network at any stage of their lifecycle (concept, pre-production, regional, or fully certified) using whatever identifier you already have, or none at all until one is assigned.

GTIN UPC EAN ISBN ASIN Retailer-Assigned ID Internal SKU Concept / Pre-GTIN Custom / Proprietary Multiple IDs (all assigned)
ID Type
Status
What GPA does
GTIN / UPC / EAN
Fully supported
Standard pass-through. Works with all legacy EDI systems downstream.
ISBN / ASIN
Fully supported
Industry-specific identifiers. Books, media, and Amazon catalog items publish natively without a GTIN.
Internal SKU
Supported
Your own identifier. GPA stores it and maps it to subscriber-specific aliases without requiring a standards body ID.
No ID yet
Supported
Products in concept or pre-production exist in the catalog as drafts. IDs are assigned when available. The product record doesn't wait.
Multiple IDs
Supported
One product, many identifiers. GPA holds all assigned IDs simultaneously: GTIN for EDI, ASIN for Amazon, internal SKU for your ERP, retailer-assigned ID for a key account.
Who It's Built For

Every channel. Every relationship.

GPA is infrastructure. It works wherever product data needs to move between companies, including channels the old infrastructure never imagined.

Platform & Marketplace OEMs

Embed GPA. Ship the catalog layer pre-built.

E-commerce platforms, ERP vendors, and marketplace operators embed GPA as the product data layer, so their customers arrive with a working catalog network instead of building their own from scratch.

EDI & Legacy Migration

Drop-in alongside your existing EDI.

GPA doesn't require ripping out your EDI infrastructure. REST, JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI paths all work in the same network. Start with one new trading relationship and expand from there.

Why Now

The infrastructure that
was always missing.

The EDI VAN was built for the 1980s mainframe world. The vendor portal was a browser window bolted onto the same processes. The GS1 data pool was designed for a world where every product had a GTIN before it existed.

None of them were built for how product data actually moves today.

Global Product Access is the layer that was always missing: a shared, governed, many-to-many network where product data lives between your systems and everyone you trade with, and stays current without manual effort.

GPA vs. The Old Model

What actually improves.

Capability
EDI VAN / Vendor Portal
Global Product Access
Publish model
One feed per customer, built separately
✓ Publish once, all approved customers receive it
Product IDs required
GTIN mandatory before product exists
✓ Any ID: GTIN, ASIN, ISBN, internal SKU, or none
Attribute mapping
Manual reformat per customer's spec
✓ Aliasing at the network layer, once
Update delivery
Batch files, manual triggers, or chasing vendors
✓ Live sync: updates flow when the publisher pushes
New buyer onboarding
New custom integration each time
✓ Buyer subscribes: no integration work for publisher
Pricing model
Per-transaction (KC) or per-SKU fees that scale painfully
✓ Flat rate by trading relationship; SKU count irrelevant
Multi-role nodes
A node is either a sender or receiver
✓ Same node subscribes upstream, publishes downstream
Trade show / event mode
Not possible: GTIN required before a product can exist
✓ Booth QR codes open live vendor catalogs, GTIN optional

"Global Product Access changes how we approach distributing our catalog. With GPA, we publish our products once and confidently know all of our partners can see what's current straight away. It's that simple."
